At Endodontic Excellence, communication with your general dentist isn’t an afterthought. It’s part of the treatment. We work closely with your referring provider to ensure a seamless, well-coordinated experience for both you and your tooth.

Before Your Visit

Before your visit, we review the referral, clinical notes, and any images or concerns your dentist sends us. This helps us understand your dental history, treatment goals, and any restoration plans in place. If needed, we reach out to your dentist directly to clarify details so we’re fully aligned from the start.

After Treatment

After your root canal, we send a comprehensive follow-up report including digital x-rays, diagnosis, treatment performed, and notes to help guide the next steps. Your general dentist will decide what type of permanent restoration is most appropriate based on their clinical judgment and experience.

Why General Dentists Refer to Us

There are many reasons general dentists refer to a specialist like us. Our doctors have years of focused training and experience in endodontics, use advanced technologies like GentleWave and CBCT imaging, and have a high success rate even with complex or previously treated cases. In many situations, referral to a specialist saves you time, reduces the risk of complications, and lowers the likelihood of needing costly retreatment later on.

No Referral? No Problem.

You don’t need a referral or a general dentist to come see us. If you’re experiencing pain or suspect you need a root canal, you can contact us directly. We’ll take care of your evaluation and treatment. At the end of the visit, we can connect you with one of the amazing general dentists in your area, who we know will deliver exceptional restorative care.

Seamless, Patient-Centered Care

Our goal is to protect your teeth for the long run. And that means working as a team with your trusted general dentist. Because when everyone is informed, your care is faster, more efficient, and more predictable.
